Over 10 years ago I founded The Pilates Suite in Hampton Wick. I had lived in Hampton for many years but soon after founding the company my family moved to Farnham and I set up a second studio in the original barn in Wrecclesham. Maria de Lima has been Principal in Hampton for many years and over that time, both studios have flourished and we’ve been honoured to teach such loyal, fun and committed clients.
In recent months I have felt it quite a challenge to continue to operate two studios, especially given the geographic distance between them. After many discussions, I have decided to sell the Hampton Wick studio to Maria who will run it as a separate business from 1 January 2017, called Hamptons Pilates. She’ll continue to offer mat and equipment Pilates classes and BarreConcept classes.
This change is not the end of our working relationship however, as I’m happy to say that Maria will also continue to teach in Farnham on Fridays as previously.
This hasn’t been an easy decision to make, but I know that I’ll be able to devote more time and attention to the Farnham studio and that I’m leaving the Hampton Wick location in very capable hands.
